We have programs to help teenagers gain knowledge to be successful, better manage money or start a business. We also focus on building their self-esteem and confidence to succeed. Our mission drives two strategic priorities. First, we help teenagers and young adults achieve financial independence. And second, we help improve the health of the community.
Your support of the Sherrod Foundation will help save lives. By focusing on preventing type 2 diabetes, we will provide the information, knowledge, tools and lifestyle changes necessary to save lives. According to the CDC, 30.3 million US adults have diabetes and 1 in 4 of them don’t know they have it. 84.1 million have prediabetes.
We also have learning modules on the dangers of vaping, reducing stress and getting better sleep.
